BrawlCode is an independent, for-fun project that turns your Claude Code development activity into a real-time role-playing game. It is a personal project, not a company.
BrawlCode is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic PBC, Microsoft Corporation, JetBrains s.r.o., or any other software vendor named on this site.
BrawlCode does not modify, decompile, redistribute, or bundle Claude Code. It relies solely on Claude Code's public, documented hooks system. You install a script we provide (brawlcode-filter.js) into your own configuration, and you can read, audit, modify, or remove it at any time.
BrawlCode is privacy-first. The script on your machine never sends your file contents, prompts, commands, file paths or names, tool outputs, or any identifier in clear text. Only anonymized game metadata is sent (tool name, a generic file category, success flags, timestamps, and identifiers hashed with a passphrase that stays on your machine). The exact list is in the public filter repository: github.com/brawlcode/brawlcode-filter.
If you join the beta, the email address you provide is stored solely to send you an invitation and beta-related updates. It is not sold or shared, and you can ask us to remove it at any time by writing to [email protected].
We use no analytics and no tracking cookies. At most, strictly necessary technical cookies may be set (for example to operate the beta signup form or its spam protection). Such essential cookies do not require consent, so there is no cookie banner.
Claude, Claude Code and Anthropic are trademarks of Anthropic PBC. Visual Studio Code, VS Code and Microsoft are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. JetBrains, IntelliJ IDEA, PhpStorm and WebStorm are trademarks of JetBrains s.r.o. Any other names are trademarks of their respective owners. These names are used only descriptively, to say which software BrawlCode is compatible with — never as our own marks. No vendor logo is reproduced; the game's factions use original names and emblems. On request from a rights holder, we will change or remove any element without delay.
Except for the open-source filter, everything that makes up BrawlCode is owned by its author: the game's world and lore, the faction names Lightbringers and Stormcasters, their emblems, the rank and class names, the territories, the original expression of the game systems, the artwork, the source code, and the BrawlCode name and domains.
The one component that sends data from your machine — the filter script (brawlcode-filter) — is published under the MIT license and is freely auditable: github.com/brawlcode/brawlcode-filter.
